Mindscapes — CAMS National Mood Reports

Mindscapes translates the raw quantitative output of the Complex Adaptive Model System (CAMS) into readable structural portraits of living civilisations.

Each report is generated by the same open Python pipeline (mindscapes/generate_report.py) applied identically to every country. There is no nation-specific adjustment or interpretive layer. The pipeline:

1. Loads the latest cleaned CAMS time-series.
2. Computes four universal scalars:
   M(t)Metabolic Load — stress / throughput pressure

   Y(t)Mythic Integration — Vision–Affect / symbolic coherence

   HeadroomMargin between capacity and stress

   ΣσTotal affective activation across the eight nodes
3. Maps the node values to eight institutional places (not people):
   Throne Temple Library Battlefield Workshop Manor The Fields Agora
4. Produces a concise status narrative that surfaces the living coordination story the mathematics are already telling.

Mindscapes exists for one reason only: to demonstrate in public that every CAMS assessment is driven strictly by data, never by cultural priors or ideological lenses. The poetic language is simply the most human way to make the underlying numbers legible.

The full pipeline, data and code are open on GitHub so anyone can reproduce or extend the reports.
